The Cloud web application software consists of a main livestock management module and additional hardware, document and farm management modules. All items are hierarchically arranged starting with the farm on top of the diagram and moving through paddocks and groups down to the individual animals, documents and hardware. The interrelationships between the items are dynamic and are subject to change either by direct input through the user interface or by updates coming from the field equipment. All changes are stored in the system and the progress history can be reviewed.

Based on the incoming newly generated or updated data, the server side software generates business critical reports and diagrams that show both the current state and outline the operational trends. When these reports are overlaid with selected environmental and business factors, various kinds of cause and effect insights begin to emerge.

By setting different triggers on the primary and derivative data, high levels of automation, notification and alerting are achieved, leading to decreased fault tolerances and increased efficiency.
